What is Diamond Clarity?

What is diamond clarity and why does it matter? Clarity refers to how many imperfections are present within a diamond. There are two types, internal characteristics called ‘inclusions’ and external characteristics known as ‘blemishes.’ To grade clarity, gemologists use the GIA clarity scale and evaluate each stone under a 10x magnification.  One thing to keep in mind when buying a diamond, no diamond is perfect, just unique.

Which Clarity is Best for You?

While we believe clarity is an important factor, we also don’t want it to break the bank. Flawless (F) and Internally Flawless (IF) are considered the best of the best, when it comes to clarity, we always urge our customers to choose what fits their budget. That is the main reason why eye clean SI and VS clarity grade diamonds are our most popular. A diamond that cost you much less but equally as gorgeous!
